Your most comical fishing memory/story: I got a chuckle out of it, but I’m sure the park ranger didn’t... I was sitting there anchored up in the drift boat with some clients eating lunch when a canoe with two park rangers swooped in on us like vultures on a dead carcass looking for fishing licenses and boat registration. With everyone producing legitimate paperwork, the other ranger stands up and steps out of the canoe. I guess not realizing the water was five or so feet deep, he disappears to all but his hat. When he resurfaced, one of my clients (not knowing what to say) asks if his pistol is waterproof. Trying not to laugh, the other ranger tells him to swim to shore so he can get back in the canoe without making him go for a swim. Needless to say, we never had our paperwork checked!
Interesting facts (fishing or non-fishing): Children are like sponges, they absorb their surroundings. So if you’re into the outdoors, chances are you child will follow suit.
Best advice (fishing or non-fishing): Live everyday like it’s your last.
Catch you’re most proud of: Laker on the fly
Other Hobbies: Snowboarding or anything outdoors
